The Schiefer was opened in April 2013 and is the lifestyle gastronomy in the Gastro Urban family. And because we don't always take ourselves so seriously, the Schiefer is also often called a lifestyle pizza joint. This has the background that we attach importance to the use of high-quality ingredients and products as well as to a positive way of life, but transport this uncomplicatedly and loosely to the guest. We convince with homemade pizza, a large selection of salads and pasta as well as an honest steak menu. This means that we can meet the needs of local and travelled guests despite the tourism-oriented marketplace location.
The Schiefer's business areas are somewhat more complex, as 11 pretty maisonettes, suites and two event rooms are part of them. We are happy to organize weddings, anniversaries or company celebrations in the large hall or confirmations or intimate meals in the fireplace room.
The in-house Christmas market in the inner courtyard is legendary with the après-ski parties taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A close and personal cooperation with our local growers ensures the high quality of Rodeo Ranch Quality. No matter from which country the meat for Rodeo comes, strict and consistent criteria apply to quality and origin. In each country there is always only one and always personally known partner. Only high-quality meat breeds such as Hereford & Angus cattle are used. The animals live under natural and species-appropriate conditions, eating only grass and herbs, which they find on their endless ways on the pastures of the ranch. Discover this incredible steak quality with us in the Schiefer. We are looking forward to preparing special treats for you - for example our 300g Rib-Eye from Argentina or the 500g T-Bone Steak from Ireland.
To further expand our steak expertise, we now have a large ripening cabinet, a so-called dry ager, in the slate. Here you can see impressive pieces of beef, which we ripen ourselves to give you an even better taste experience and to indulge our passion for very good steak. And honestly: Such a Dry Ager in a restaurant is already pretty cool!
